Using technology borrowed from our KA-1250 project, this muzzlebrake offers angle-ported recoil reduction in a lightweight package. Machined from a solid piece of 4340CM alloy, this brake is extremely strong and durable. This brake has 30 degree rearward porting to reduce the amount of blast and noise directed toward the shooter. Utilizing KA's proprietary 'gas trap' design, it redirects and vents propellant very efficiently for maximum recoil reduction. This is not a generic smaller caliber brake bored out to work on the 50 caliber. This muzzlebrake allows lightweight .50 carbines to be more controllable and comfortable to shoot. The KA-0450 makes your big bore much more manageable to shoot by reducing recoil to comfortable levels.

The KA-0450 is threaded specifically for the Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf rifles with 49/64"x20 threads, but will also work on other .50 carbines (non-BMG) with the same barrel thread.

Rating Mr.
I would go so far as to call this a must have for any .50 Beowulf project. The gun is somewhat tiring to shoot without a break. But when the 0450 is installed, the .50 Beowulf becomes truly enjoyable to shoot.

Rating don't shoot your 'Wulf without it
When I first got my .50 Beowulf upper, I fired 9 rounds through it to zero, and that was about enough for me -- I sent it off to Joey at KA for one of these brakes, and now I can go though a box of rounds any time I can afford to! Looks great too, and KA did a great job threading my factory barrel to mount it.

Rating Solid!
This was the finishing touch on my .50 Beowulf build. The muzzle brake fits perfectly and is a solid piece of fine craftsmanship. It also looks awesome on my rifle.

This is a must have to any Beowulf project. I pick this up about 2 years ago and they even Duracoated it in Stainless steel to match the AR-Stoner Barrel.

Rating Excellent brake
I had read about this brake in many places on the web and emailed King Armory about availability and received a prompt reply saying they were in stock and would ship quickly. I placed my order and within a week or so I had my brake in hand. I ended up doing a Cerakote on it to match the rifle I was building and it looks great on the rifle. I didn't shoot without it, but I have to say that for a big .50, it shoots very smooth and kicks about like a mild 20 gauge in my estimation. The threading was perfect for my barrel (AR Stoner from Midway) and fit snug without being too tight. I haven't put many rounds through it, but the noise is acceptable, blast is better than I thought it would be and so far everybody makes a comment on how good it looks. Highly recommend this brake.
