King Armory Mfg LLC is a privately-held company in the state of Arizona. We started as a company primarily involved in advanced designing and 3-D CAD services. We eventually designed the prototype of the KA-1212 unit a small side project and spent 8 months, eleven design revisions, 15,000rds, and a small fortune refining the design into a production model. A few weeks after the KA-1212 was released, we were approached to modify our design to facilitate door breaching for LE use. We went back to the drawing board and eventually refined the design of the KA-1212BR so that it could be made on the same blanks and tooling as the KA-1212, thus allowing us to produce both units more efficiently. The next product we designed and built was the KA-1830 unit. We spent a lot more time developing that part virtually on the CAD system and had a product that was completely debugged and "ready for primetime" on the first prototype. The KA-1830 has had no redesigns and the original prototype is still in service on our T/C Encore .300WM demo gun. They are truly an engineering masterpiece, simple in appearance yet the most precisely machined muzzlebrake in production. We then started designing and producing more innovative products and started focusing more on firearms parts. This focus brought a large line of top-quality parts made from the best US-made materials for each specific application. We use a lot of specialty alloys that are very costly compared to those used by the competition, but this further adds to the superiority of our products. We have had only two parts warrantied ever, which speaks volumes about our products and quality control.
